BOTTLED ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
We endeavour to select a varied range of the best (in our opinion) in beers, ciders, ales and lagers from around the globe, and alter the emphasis seasonally. Here are some of our current favourites:
Peroni Nastro Azzurro (Italy, 5.1%) – Italy’s No.1. Simply a classic.
Corona (Mexico, 4.6%) – A real light, refreshing brew, great with lime (or two!)
Alhambra Premium (Andalusia, 4.6%) – Granada’s favourite, smoothe but with bite.
Alhambra Reserva 1925 (Andalusia, 6.4) – Stronger big brother, but beautifully crisp.
Cusquena (Peru, 5%) – European-style lager from Machu Picchu. Excellent.
Brooklyn Lager (New York, 5.2%) – Strong-tasting, fulsome brew.
Pacifico Clara (Mexico, 4.5%) – Maybe Mexico’s favourite, refreshing but with good maltiness.
Modelo Especial (Mexico, 4.5%) – Mexico’s biggest brewery’s flagship beer.
Negra Modelo (Mexico, 5.3%) – An intriguing dark lager, well worth a try.
La Trappe Blond (Netherlands, 6.5%)- Gold blonde in colour, refreshing and fruity in character.
La Trappe Dubbel (Netherlands, 6.5%) – A Warm, dark, ruby red beer.
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale (California, 5.6%) – Great example of American Pale Ale. Nice and clean.
Anchor Steam Beer (San Francisco, 4.8%) – Leaning towards dark, a taste of The Bay!
Bitburger Drive (Germany, 0.05%) – The best non-alcoholic beer on the market. For sure!
Weston’s Organic Cider (Herefordshire, 6.5%) – Dry cider made to highest West country standards.
Bacchus Kreiekenbier (Belgium, 5.8%) – Nicely-tart, wax-paper-bottled Cherry magic!
